They were not busy (Tue at noon helps) and after a brake light, two new air filters, and the original intention of the oil change and state inspection it was roughly a hundred bucks. They were very nice and the mechanics were very helpful and referred me to West Street Auto for the other side of things they don't do. I felt bad I don't carry cash for tips, or I would have done so, but luckily I have to go back to get it reinspected when I fix some underlying issues. A friendly, quick, and affordable experience.
Traveling through mass. from Rhode Island and dash board light up like a Christmas tree. Pulled in and they were so nice dropped everything to help us. Change and alternator and we were on our way. Very friendly and helpful. Prices were great.
Recently went to this place for a couple of issues with my Dodge. I gave a detailed description of what I needed done. Rather than tell me up front that they did not provide one of the services I required, they went ahead and did the one service, and told me after that they could not do the second one, because it was not a service they provided. The receptionist was rude and bitchy. I could have saved time and gone to a place that provided both services. This was my second time dealing with speedee, and will not be returning. Classic way to loose a customer.
These guys are always really friendly and professional. They don't try to upsell you on things you don't really need, and they are clear about things you actually do need but still don't apply pressure.
Took my summer driver Charger there today. Friendly crew, very efficient.... no time wasters. They get you in and out promptly and do a nice job. First time I used them. Came in skeptical but left satisfied. Plan to return for other service. Waiting area was comfortable and very clean.
Update- March 2, 2017 -- Brought in my winter driver '03 Marauder for an inspection sticker and got a surprise that a tie rod was bad (shame on me for not noticing the vibration). While examining the tie rod, the senior Tech (I think his name is Edwin) also found some steering components that were in need of attention, though less urgently than the tie rod. What mattered most to me was that he took the time to show me exactly what the tie rod issue was and then took time to answer my questions before helping me to settle upon a course of action. Since he was already into the front end, I had him fix everything he found. It was fantastic that they were agile enough to do the work right then and there as I waited and they sourced the parts quickly. Once repairs were made, the car passed inspection and I was on my way, and much safer. Prices were clearly detailed to me in advance of starting the work and the finished invoice accurately reflected the quotes, plus I got the benefit of some coupons. Nicely squared away. I did spend a couple hours in the waiting room, not long at all considering all the work that was done, and it was clean and thechairs are quite comfortable. Another 5-star experience.
