My experience with the doctors and staff members at Gardner Eye & Lasik has been outstanding. My eyesight was very poor and complicated before I visited this clinic. Intraocular lens replacement surgery was performed and the results far exceeded my expectations. I am 63 years old and my eyesight is beautiful now. Everyone has been very kind and attentive. I highly recommend them.
Poor scheduling. We always wait about an hour before we get to see the dr. Seem to be more interested in making money off of surgery and appointments than helping the individual.
My wife made an appointment and waited 3 weeks just to find out that Eye and Lasik Center made a "mistake" and scheduled her with the wrong doctor. She rescheduled for an appointment about a month out and on the day of her appointment they called to reschedule again! So she did. A month later, they did it again!!!! Each time she took the day off from work. 3 vacation days wasted and still no eye test. Going somewhere else. Even if she was fortunate to be seen, she would probably have to wait for months to get a pair of glasses. Ridiculous. I have no idea how anyone can run a business like this and apparently I'm not the only one complaining.
The receptionists were absolutely rude to me, along with the folks in front, and behind me each time Ive been here. The receptionist also lied and told me I was not eligable for new glasses with my insurance, and then told my mother I WAS- so I had to walk all the way back months later, with no glasses being legally blind. The doctor was thorough and friendly, everything else was very disappointing.
When I called to make an appointment, I asked if I would be spammed if I gave my telephone number. I try to avoid getting spam, as it's happened in the past where I start to get too many texts from other places as well. They said "No, I would not get any". Within 15 minutes I get a text about my appointment. If I can't trust them with my information, I am CERTAINLY not going to trust them with my eyes. Now I am too pissed to even go there.
